Robert D. Mather, Ph.D.




Dr. Mather conducts research in social psychology, forensic science, and human factors of visual perception. He has been a management consultant since 1999. He is CEO and Founder of Mather Professional Services, LLC. He served as CEO and Editor of the Journal of Scientific Psychology and as Vice President of Development for the Hancock Consulting Group. He spent twenty years in higher education as a professor and associate dean. He has served as President of the Oklahoma Academy of Science and has received several awards, including the Young Alumni Achievement Award from Westminster College and the Outstanding Teacher Award from the Oklahoma Psychological Society.


He earned his Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology (Specialization in Social Psychology) from Texas Tech University, his M.A. in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma, and his B.A. in Psychology with minors in Political Science and Religious Studies from Westminster College (MO). 

Dr. Mather has been featured in articles for The Atlantic, Pacific Standard, Lifezette, Psychology Today, Heterodox Academy, and Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs. He has appeared in radio interviews on The Larry O'Connor Show (WMAL, Washington, DC), The Laura Ingraham Show and The Ethan Bearman Show (KGO, San Francisco, CA), podcasts for the Washington Examiner, as well as on television on The Ingraham Angle (Fox News). He has been interviewed by CNN and The New York Times.
